Not a problem, just a question to settle an argument. Which is more efficient to run: ram air a/c or recirc (max) a/c? I thought I remembered being told that you should run max air until your car is cooled sufficiently, then run regular a/c. Someone recently told me it's better to always run max a/c - that is uses less fuel, etc. Please settle this! Thanks! ~~Kelly

Actually it depends on the temp outside and humidity. When you run recric a/c you use 10% of fresh air max uses air inside car so will get a little colder but because a/c has controls in it to prevent freezing it will only get so cold. Mileage will not matter with either. The biggest thing max a/c does is to use air from inside the car and make the blower run faster on all speeds. What you should not do is get in a hot car and turn on a/c without rolling windows down for a couple of minutes as this creates high pressure in system and won't cool as fast
