Bought this truck owner said the A/C did not work. So, I ordered compressor condenser, accumulator, orifice, both hoses, flushed evaporator coil inside truck, installed pulled vacuum on gauge- 29/30 held for over hour ran vacuum again for about another hour. Then started to fill and just after first can high side just jumped like to 450 and fluctuated stop. Did recovery and checked in side condenser and somehow orifice sucked down into corner of the condenser, I did get it pulled out."run time with high side high was maybe 15 minutes" reinstalled and put back together pulled vacuum everything the same. So, today I started to charge it again now low side reads 95 high side also 95, it's around 80 degrees out, it is a bit cooler in cab but not much, clutch fan works as it should, and I'm not 100 %on the hot/cold switch in the dash. I am just wondering if you have any good answers. Oh, yes, the first time my low side was a bit high but figured it was because of the high side. Thank you for your time.

What brand compressor did you use? It sounds like the seals from the compressor have clogged up the orifice tube and now the compressor is not working, also if the system has too much oil it will cause the compressor to go out as well. You will need to remove the orifice tube to confirm. They make a removal tool for $36.00.

Not sure if you read everything. It's all brand-new compressor calls for 8 oz. I completely drained the new compressor and put in 6oz 1 Oz in accumulator on 1 in condenser. So anyway, thanks for your advice.

Okay, still the pressures are the same, so the compressor is not working. I would take the vacuum out the refrigerant and remove the high side line to see if you can find seal material from the compressor.
