The A/C used to work great, then it got to where it only cooled when the vehicle was driving, when parked it didn't blow cold air. Now it has quit cooling all together. It shows high pressure on the gauge.

Are you using real A/C gauges or one of the ones on a bottle of R134A to say it reads high? What is the pressure? Do you see the compressor engaging? I would suggest doing a full recovery, vacuum test and recharge as the first step. That will at least show the state of charge and give you a baseline to start from.
