A/C pump always running?

When I first started up the vehicle the A/C compressor was clicking on and off and now it sounds like it is on all the time.

The vehicle listed above is an LT model.

Hi,

Based on your description, it sounds like the compressor clutch relay went bad. At least, that is where I would start.

The relay is in the under-hood fuse box. I attached a pic below showing its location. Remove it and switch it with a different relay in the box having the same part number. See if makes a difference. Also, when you remove the present one, check to make sure the connectors in the box are in good condition and free of corrosion, as well as give the relay a shake to see if anything sounds loose in it.
