Hello,

On a hot day starting the vehicle and putting the A/C on max it does not blow cold while the vehicle is parked but once I start driving it gets cold. I can then park the car After driving and it still stays cold. What would be causing this? Thank you so much for your help.

Hi,

The first thing I would check is the freon in the system. If it is a little low, that can cause a delay. Take a look at this link, it explains how to recharge the system:

This is the first thing I would try. Also, keep in mind, when you are sitting still, the compressor is turning a lot slower than when driving. Does it start warm regardless of how long you wait before driving?

Let me know.

Joe
