A/C not turning on

I recently had a engine swap done on my car and ever since then cold air won’t come out of the vent (A/C light will not turn on).
It seems the compressor is coming on and all other controls work fine. I wonder if there is to little gas although it has been checked and seems not that low. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

If the indicator light isn't turning on, are you sure the compressor is engaging? Has anyone checked both the high and low side pressures on the system? Have you checked fuses?
