A/C no longer can I change from floor to vent or defrost?

So, if I understand correctly this is a mode actuator problem. If that is correct then my question is where is this located and what is the correct part number for the car listed above? Thank you in advance.

There is no actuator on this car, it is controlled by a cable. Here is what it looks like, you should be able to get to it by removing the glove box. Check out the images (below). Please upload pictures or videos in your response to any problems so we can see what to help you with.

So, just to reiterate, this is the 3rd knob on the A/C control for changing air flow not temperature. The temperature works fine. It's not changing air flow from defrost vent to A/C face vent or to floor. So, the part number based on your info is 27541-4Z000 is this still the right part?

The information says mode cable which controls the vent air flow position. Does it feel like you are moving a cable when working the knob? In 2007 they went to an actuator motor. Maybe you have a late 2006? If so, here is the location of the mode actuator. They don't give a part # sorry. Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes.
