Where is the A/C Mode Actuator Motor located and how to remove it?

It looks like the mode actuator is part of the HVAC plenum so that's no fun. Here is how they say to change it.

The mode door motor is part of the heater and cooling unit assembly and is replaced as an assembly. Refer to
