My A/C controls were working but they are not. Won’t come on or anything. I believe it has a short. I tested fuses relays even the control module. How much does it cost to get it fixed?

We need to check to see if the HVAC fuse # 38 in the under-hood fuse panel has power. This guide can help, and I have included the fuse location below. Also, there are two grounds that need to be inspected which I have included as well. As far as cost goes it can run anywhere between $300.00 and $800.00 depending on how good the shop is with electrical problems. We can fix it ourselves; I can walk you through it.

Check out the diagrams (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.

Thank you so much Ken. Fuse 38 had no power. I got it back working. Now I have another problem, I just put in a new A/C compressor, but it is not coming on so that I can add Freon. I checked the relay. I bypassed it with a paper clip through the relay and it came on. What could my problem be?

I am glad you fixed it, but can I ask you to start a new question for the new problem?
