A/C clutch not engaging

If the clutch is getting power and is not engaging, it most likely is due to a pressure issue. When you recharged it, did you use gauges? If so, can you tell me both the high and low side readings as well as the outside temps when checked?

I took the car to Jiffy Lube to have them vacume out, charge and check for leaks.
Do not know what their gauges read. However, they told me it all checked out except the clutch was not engaging unless you jumped it. As far as outside temperatures it was around ninety degrees while Jiffy Lube was servicing this vehicle.

How was the relay checked? Did you replace it with a known good one? I attached a picture of the relay's location to make sure you got the right one. Also, here is a link that shows how to check a relay:

If the compressor engaged prior, something must be disconnected or the pressure is still an issue. Have you checked the pressure switch? The switch is located on the discharge line near the condenser. If that is bad, you will not get power to the clutch. Also, is it possible to get the pressure readings from the shop?
