My wife recently told me that when she turned her defogger on which I know activates the air conditioning compressor her car stalled out when she was sitting at idle this is not so much a question as to answer to anyone that might read this I recharged the air conditioning unit in this seem to solve the issue now it idles without sputtering with the air conditioner on full throttle

Arbitrarily adding refrigerant is a very bad idea. These systems require a very specific weight charge and either too much or too little can do a lot of damage. What you need to do is have the system completely evacuated and recharged with the exact weighed charge. At that point the pressures will paint a picture of what is happening in the system. None of the pressure information can be trusted until you know it has the exact correct charge.
