I swapped a 2003 Impala 3.8L with a 2004 Impala 3.8L. I don't want to run the A/C (plus the connection doesn't line up) so i just dead ended the connector that comes off the radiator on the passenger side. Will this setup work or do I need to hook up this line regardless?

Yep, the part in the image with the arrow is an A/C line, if you are not running A/C it can be removed. Let us know if you need anything else.

Also, how hard is it to fix the 'TRAC' Control? It snowed last night and on the way into town, i hit a patch of snow covered road and it was all over the place. Had to seriously reduce speed and it would not stay straight. Would the TRAXC control have that much impact on the handling & steering of this car? If so, how can i fix it?

You should be able to remove all parts of the air conditioner and be okay. Sorry, we only handle one problem per thread, please post your new question here, you must be logged in.
