Added refrigerate. No cool air. Notice A/C knob is flashing. What steps should I take to fix?

Hi Lortega,
This means the compressor is not coming on. The common cause is low refrigerant. If you added enough to get this to come on then you have another issue but we need to verify that there is not a large leak.
You do this by using a pressure gauge set and getting the pressure of the high and low side. Once you get these, let me know what they are and we can go from there. If you do not have a gauge set then you can rent them from a parts store for free (as long as you return them).
