When my vehicle first cranks, it blows fine and cold. After about 15 minutes it will stop blowing out of the vents almost completely and sounds like it's blowing in the dash. My husband is a heavy equipment mechanic but this one stumping him.

Hi,

The problem sounds related to the mode door actuator. This actuator is what is responsible for airflow direction.

By chance, are there any sounds when this happens such as clicking or ticking?

The mode door actuator is under the dash and mounted on the HVAC unit. I attached a pic below showing its location. Start by checking the connector to it. Make sure nothing has come loose, is damaged, and the connection isn't corroded.

Let me know what you find.

Joe
