On the driver's side, the air coming from the A/C is similar to a fan blowing air. It is not very cold at all. The passenger's side, however, is ice cold. I do not have dual climate control. I have noticed when I turn off Max A/C and circulation, the air gets a little cooler but not much. Also, it seems to get a little cooler the longer I drive it, but again not by much.

Could this the blend door thing? Can being low on Freon cause one side to be cool like that?

I also vaguely remember clicking noises coming from my dash a few months ago. I do not think I have heard it since.

I would really like to fix this myself if it is not too hard. I am afraid of it being too expensive otherwise.

thanks

Clicking noise in the dash and low/no cold air to one side sounds like a blend or mode door motor or door failure.
Being only 3 years old and close on the mileage numbers I would visit a dealer and see if they would fix it. Nothing to lose but a phone call or visit.

It's not a real difficult repair but you do have to remove a bunch of trim and support parts to dig your way into the controller.
