Does my replacement A/C need to be recharged?

my A/C is being replaced and i was wondering after they replace it do they have to recharge it also?

Hi,

Anytime the system is opened, the Freon is lost (should be vacuumed). As a result, it needs to be recharged. Here is a link that shows how it's done:
