I changed the fuel pump, worked for a while but a code came on and it said there was something not letting it get enough fuel. It kept working until one day fuel ran low and I filled tank, cranked but wouldn't turn on anymore. I checked relays, there's spark, filter is new.

Hi,

Do you remember what the code was, and have you checked it again to see if anything new has been stored?

If you do have an ignition spark at the plugs, then suspect it is a fuel-related issue. The easiest way to confirm is to see if it starts with starting fluid. If it does and then stalls, we know its fuel related.

So, if that is the case, the first thing I suggest is to check for fuel pressure at the engine. Here is a link that explains in general how it's done. You will need a fuel pressure gauge, but most parts stores will lend one to you.

If you look below, I attached the manufacturer's fuel pressure specifications.

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe
