Fuel guage showing very empty, but moves. Both happened at the same time. The pump can be heard running for 2-3 seconds when switched to "on" position. Cranks right up, runs for 1 second, then dies. Never a problem with fuel gauge until now. I know there's a 1/4 tank, but will add some more anyway.

Forgot to mention, NO security light. Every other similar problem I've seen online concerned the security light. Last time I unhooked battery was months ago, no other electrical issues.

The first thing you need to do is read the fuel pressure. The pump is acting normally with the 2 second prime.
