how to access resistor

Yes have check fan relay and swapped it with fuel relay, they have the same exact numbers, all checked out fine.
Fan works fine when hot wired.

I have a resistor on order, wonder if I should try this next. How can we tell and could you please explain how to access the resistor, or is this where the fan blower plugs in? Thank you again. Margaret

Also the resistor wont keep the fan from running on high have seen very few bad resistors on those cars so that is a waste of money.
