hard pedal

Replaced clutch disc only I have a hard pedal now like as if there no travel of the throw out bearing. i did notice when tightening the pressure plate the fingers were depressing a lot. why?

it can be because the pressure plate was worn as well especially if the fingers were uneven when it was tightened down. but check to see if it is a hydraulic problem first and try bleeding it. there are two different types of slaves. see pictures for instructions on both.
