Blinkers just randomly stopped working today. I bought a brand new blinker fuse and still nothing. My hazards also don't work. I have very little mechanic knowledge. :(

Hello,

The first thing I would try is to cycle the hazard switch many times to clean the connection. Next let test if fuse # 5 has power. It is easy just follow this guide and I will walk you through everything.

The turn signal flasher can be bad as well here is the wiring diagrams and flasher location so we can get started.

You can do this. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

Cheers, Ken

Thanks for the reply ken, looking at your pictures the fuse panel picture you sent me looks nothing like my fuse panel.I have 2 fuse panels that I have found 1, under hood 1, under the steering wheel, tomrow ill get a light tester test the connections and get back to you on that, also what do you mean by " cycle the hazard switch many times to clean the connection"? Like just push the button on and off a bunch?

The 4th picture with the single flash fuse in the bottom left is the fuse panel I have. I checked all fuses with the light tester, and found that #13 on the diagram you sent says 10 amp fuse for instrument illumination is the only one that was not working.

Okay so new update:

While pressing the hazard buttons to clean the connection something interesting happened. At first I repeatedly pressed the button off and on ending on the off position, then proceeded to try my blinkers still nothing. So I repeated it one more time pressing the button off and on many times! This time I ended up leaving the hazard lights on the on position, tried my blinkers and it works! So I am not sure if this helps diagnose the problem but if my hazard button in on my blinkers work properly but my hazards do not work at all. And if my hazards are off my blinkers do not work at all.

It sounds like the hazard switch is bad, you can confirm if the light blue wire has power the switch is bad. Let me know what happens.
