Transmission is stuck in reverse?

I got a track car that I turned daily. On my way to Austin from San Antonio I felt something wrong with the car. I slowed down to 1st to run through the gears and 3rd 4th and neutral went out. Completely. Pulled over and now it's stuck in reverse. My question is, completely new transmission or rebuild?

Nice car! How do the gears feel when you try to shift it? There are shift cables that can go bad which will cause the problem you have described. Also check to see if one of the cables has come off at the transmission. Please let me know what you find. Also, if you have a question, please upload images of the issue.
