This Ford Focus SFE, = Super fuel economy has a 6 speed or 6 forward drive gear transmition, How does this work when the shift lever indicater only has 3 position, (drive) (low 2) and (low 1)? If it has 6 forward drive gears shouldn't it have 6 indicaters on the shift lever? as in (drive) and then low 5, 4, 3, 2, and low 1 ? What gears are actualy engaged for each drive indicater on the shift lever? I'm thinking (drive) = all 6 gears automatic, then (low 2) = gears 3 and 4 and then (low 1) = gears 1 and 2. How does this actualy work?
