I have access to a strong running 2006 Chrysler 300 V8 hemi and can't find any information if this engine is compatible with the car listed above. The Charger engine is not good. If the 300 engine isn't, where is there a compatibility chart I can use?
Thanks

Hi,

The engine itself should be usable. You will likely need to switch the sensors, injectors, exhaust manifolds, and other components for it to run properly in your vehicle. However, the engine block (short block) should be the same. The one thing I would suggest is to inspect things like sensors to make sure they are the same or at least in the same locations.

As far as a list of compatible engines, that isn't something that is available in repair manuals. The easiest way to check would be through a salvage yard. They would have that type of information.

If you look below, those are the two OEM part numbers. The first is for the 2006 and the second is for the 2010. You can see if there is any other information that would indicate an issue.

I hope this helps.
