4x4 will not disengage

Hi, problem started after i rotated tires tried the 4x4 and even though i have put the tires back where they were still wont disengage.

Did you have different size tires front to back? If so the transfer case will overheat. Here is a an exploded view of the unit so you can see how it works. This is manual shift correct? Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.
