Four wheel drive not engaging

I bought this truck and the girl had the four wheel drive fuse out of the truck. I stuck it back in and the four wheel drive light on dash. It is on but will not engage and when I push the other Four wheel drive button it does nothing. I need help.

The most common problem with these vehicles is the four wheel drive actuator motor, which is mounted on the side of the transfer case. They are know for going bad. The first thing to do is check to see if there is power to the actuator. You will need a test light. Check to see if power is present when you change modes.
