4X4 light flashes

I got the truck on a trade 4 wheel drive lights just flashed so I put front axle acuator in and now it locks in but light flashes on 4hi or when in 4lo

Scan for codes first check to see if encoder motor on tcase is getting power

If it wasn't getting power then how is it switching into four wheel drive

Because yo have a thing called a tcm or transfer case module that may be screwed up.

What years of Chevy and models have same module my axle acuator is out of a 99 suburban

They shold cover a few different years the actuator shouldn't matter. Check with auto parts for that kind of stuff

So I put another push button switch in and another tcm module still doing same thing

Did you scan it like I said? Encoder motors on tcase are a high failure rate but scan it first see if you get anything auto parts can do it.

So is the incoder motor the same thing as the acuator motor or is it another motor or should I say how many motors are on transfer case

It feels like it locks in but when I drive it it don't hop or seem like it's working even in 4lo it drives like it in 4lo but same thing it don't hop but thing is that it only clunks when your in nuteral and its loud the truck jerks like front wheels are locked but I drove in gravel and couldn't feel front tires spinning seemed like just back tires was spitting rocks

There is an encoder motor on tcase and another on the axle see pic. I can be of no further help it's best you have a pro look at this. The switch goes to the tcm to apply the 4wd so i'm sure there is a tcm problem of some type.
