4x4 stuck in 4 low how to get it unstuck?

Hi,

The first thing I would suggest is to check the linkage at the transfer case to make sure it didn't come disconnected, stuck and so on.

If you look at the attached pics, I highlighted the area of concern. I am basing this on the shift lever in the vehicle is moving. If that is incorrect, let me know. Note that the pics are of the same component from different points of view.

Everything is hook up the shift moves and all, but stuck in 4 low.

In addition to the shift lever, make sure the shaft it is mounted to is turning. It is keyed and can slip. (See pic 1)
If that is also turning, Disconnect the linkage and see if it moves further if you do it by hand. Make sure the parking brake on in case you shift it to neutral. If that does nothing, then the transfer case will need removed for inspection internally.
