This 454 is .060 over, well maintained, just tired. I tore it down. no broken parts. I want to know if it can be over-bored again and what would be the limit. How much can be taken from the cylinders? Thanks

Good afternoon,

.060 is max for bore. Anything above that and the engine will run hot. that would be too thin for the walls.

The best thing to do is have a machine shop bore it and put in sleeves back to either standard, .030 or .060 again.
