'96 Escort wont turn over

My '96 Ford Escort wont turn over. I turn the key and hear an audible click but the engine doesn't even try to start. I have had problems with the starter relay before so I replaced it and still no result. The battery has lots of juice still and all the fluids are fine.

Check battery for condition including load test make sure terminals are clean try resetting security system if no manual look online. Then have starter checked at auto parts.
