I recently decided I wanted to rebuild my 302 into a 347 stroker, I watched the 2CarPros series, and they put links for a stroker kit and heads. However, the once linked were very price and for my truck restoration I don't really need high horsepower or forged internals. The truck will end up being used for farm work anyways, so my question is if there are some more budget friendly options on summits website.

If it's going to be a farm truck and you just want more real usable power, I would opt for a 351 Windsor swap. The engine would bolt to your existing transmission and mounts and many other parts as it's basically just a taller block than what you have. While the HP on a stock engine isn't that great they produce more torque than the 302 at a lower rpm due to the longer stroke and better rod angles. That can further be enhanced if you put a roller cam kit into it and a lighter intake with one of the bolt on EFI kits. Buy a used engine and build it as you have the funds and time. You won't fly down the road but if you are actually using it as a farm rig, hauling wagons, moving feed and cows, towing a trailer it will far outperform the 302 or a stroker kit.
