Hello,

This is the Bendix gear on your starter not engaging the flex-plate (flywheel is for a manual transmission) on your engine. In the diagrams down below I have included the factory instructions for the removal and installation of your vehicle's starter motor. Please go through this guide and get back to us with what you are able to find out, or how everything turns out.

Thanks,
Alex
