Car listed above is the TT model. Drove to the gas station just fine as always, went in paid for gas and when I went to leave the car just does not engage into any gear at all.

Hello,

It sounds like the transmission fluid is low. let's check it by using these guides and diagrams below:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-service-an-automatic-transmission

and

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/automatic-transmission-problems

Trans-axle and Transmission
Check fluid with engine and transmission at normal operating temperature. With vehicle standing level and at idle, shift transmission/trans-axle through all positions and return to Park.

Clean area around dipstick. Remove dipstick, wipe clean, insert and withdraw. Level should be between "H" and "L" marks. If level is not as indicated, add fluid as necessary.
Dipstick on some models may be marked with HOT and COLD ranges. Use COLD range if fluid is 86-122°F (30-50°C) and vehicle was not driven before checking level.

Please run down these guides and report back.
