There is a 3 prong plug hanging by my battery?

This could be for a factory alienation when the car was assembled. Do you have a picture you can upload so we can see it? Also, can you look around to see if there is another connector near the open connector? Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem so we can see what's going on.
