Hello! I’m new here but I have the truck listed above 2500 Cummings turbo diesel. After the mechanic put in transmission cooling unit, when I open the driver door, I hear a rhythmic ticking along with alarm beep (occasionally) coming from the dash. When I close the door, it stops. Key in or out of ignition, it doesn’t matter. Also, once the driver's window is down, I can hear the clicking. It stops when the window is up. I have checked all blend door actuators except the SOB behind the HVAC system closest to the firewall. All working fine. I’m at a loss! Please provide insight!

Can you tell where the clicking noise is coming from also can you upload a short video of the noise so I can hear it? Also, we should do a CAN scan to see what comes up and it might lead us to the noise. You can get a CAN scanner (Controller Area Network) which will work on most cars from Amazon.

Here is a video to show you how:

Please go over this guide and report back.

Thank you for the reply! Fortunately, I found my issue, unfortunately I am a special kind of dumb and found it was coming from an external TPMS for my trailer! Thank you again for the prompt response!
