If I understand correctly, when you first turn the front A/C on, it works and then stops. To make it continue, you need to turn the A/C off and back on, correct?
If I had to guess, I would say the blower motor control module is starting to fail. However, the module isn't cheap, and I don't want to have you just arbitrarily replace it.
Here is what I suggest: Have the can-bus scanned for diagnostic trouble codes. CAN stands for controller area network. Basically, the different computers/modules are tied together via a few wires and communicate with each other.
This type of scan will identify codes regardless of the module storing them. Here is a link explaining how it's done:

I suggest this before replacing the part.
