Thanks for the info. I think I will have to get some photos as the axle shaft process makes perfect sense, but I don’t see how it relates in the driveshaft scenario. I feel a slight bit of flex if I pry at the rear (near differential), but there doesn’t seem to be any flex at the transaxle end. I’m thinking if I remove the center bearing bolts and with a jack allow the shaft to hang at that point, it might make it possible to give enough space to pry out from the rear end. If that happens, I guess it would just be pull out from transaxle as well. There are no obvious bolts or “U” joints to remove at either end.
