Hello,
I would like to know where the lifting points are under the car listed above it is a LS sedan for using a floor jack. The rear axle beam is high up between the gas tank and the depression in the trunk for the large battery and Auto Stop system, and there are plastic deflectors under a lot of the front of the car. Once the car gets older and rusty the heavy sheet metal at the factory jack locations will just crumble when trying to lift the car.
Thanks

I hate to say it, but the factory lack points are the only locations you can safely lift the vehicle, especially on the rear. If the jack can get low enough to safely get under the lower control arms on the front, that will work.

Everything is getting cheaper, it seems. Keep in mind, if the rockers get rusted bad enough that you can no longer use the designed lift points, the vehicle may be getting unsafe. That rocker is a structural component and should be sound.
