I was in line at a drive thru (vehicle along side the building) with my car just idling and heard a noise that sounded like a quick burst of air pressure being released every 2-4 seconds. Got to work and got out of the car to listen closley and it was still making the sound while in park. I drove this car off the lot brand new only 2 months ago and I'm a little concerned. Should I see if the noise is still there over the next couple days and then book for service? Or should I just get it in righ away?!

I would just stop in at the dealership and ask a service adviser to take a quick listen. You may be hearing an emissions device cycling on and off. If so, they will have heard this before and will explain what it happening. If they are concerned, they'll discuss your options as to when you want to bring it in.

If the service adviser is unable to identify the noise or get it handled, see the salesman that sold you the car. Their job is just starting after you drive away with your new car. They are responsible for taking care of any issues later, and they can get an appointment set up for you in the service department if that appears to be necessary.
