Hi, my friend just recently was given the car listed above by his aunt. He was told that it needs a timing chain replaced. Both him and i have a little bit of experience with timing belts as I've done then in the Camry and Lexus gs400 and the timing chain on the Lincoln zephyr i once owned. So, he asked me if i could give him a hand with it and i said sure. So, i was wondering if i could get the procedure on how to replace the timing chain on his car. I want to make sure we get everything done correctly.

Thank you,
Rob

Hi,

The information below is for a 2.0L non-turbo engine. If it is different, let me know.

As far as the procedures, they are listed below. Read through them and let me know if you have questions or need additional information. Also, the torque specifications are included but if one is missing, let me know that as well.

Take care,

Joe
