my car can't start and climb stip hills,I have to over force the acceleration it seems as if its in neutral yet drive

Sounds like a transmission problem, if the revs are going up and road speed is low especially on a gradient, I would be thinking that the transmission is slipping, this is something a specialist will have to look at and advise first hand after completing a series of transmission tests.
