Went to start it and it has no power?

This car was running perfectly, parked it in the barn about a month ago until new tires could be purchased. Went to start it and it has no power. Tried to jump it with a jump pack and now the lights flicker on and off, and when I push to start the lights come on like normal, but it makes a humming noise and never attempts to crank. The gauges went a little crazy and moved back and forth, windshield wipers turned on by themselves. Still will not start after a charge. Help!

Hello,

It sounds like the battery needs to be replaced, when the battery shorts out a jump box will not help it. To be sure turn the headlights on and lets it sit, they should be bright after 15 minutes if not replace the battery. Here are two guides to help walk you through the test and the repair:
