2013 Toyota Camry Used Car 1 00pm Parked Garage Went Out Garage 6 00pm Heard

We used the car at 1:00pm and then parked it in the garage. I then went out in the garage at 6:00pm and heard a small motor whirring sound near the back by the gas tank. As i looked with a flashlight underneath the sound then stopped. What could it be?
