I have a 2013 Mercedes Benz e550 coupe. The salesman that i bought the car from told my I should put 89 octane gas in the car. So i did that for about 1800-1900 miles. Ive recent read in the manual that the car should have 93 octane gas in it. I do notice sometimes the engine tends to get hot, and i know the lower octane doesnt allow to car to perform the way it should, and can hurt the engine. How do i correct this? Do i just start putting 93 in? Or should i flush my engine. Help me please, the last thing i want is for my spark plugs or something to corrode.
Thanks

Run with the 93 if that what the manual recommends use it.
