Engine overheating?

During the summer 110°+ A/C running parked no issues. Now no A/C car overheats parked or driving actually have to turn A/C on to engage auxiliary fan. This happened last year around this time when it's still 70's-80's windows down, but the car starts to go over normal mark. When I say overheat, I mean gauge goes 2 marks above normal. Is this something with the auxiliary fan not kicking on or some thermostat idk. Thanks.

This could be the gauge that is off, I would use an infrared temperature gun on the upper radiator hose to check the temperature. When fully hot it should be 210-220 degrees.

Does the cooling system boil over? Also, do you have a check engine light on?

This guide may help as well:

I have also seen the low-speed fan relay go out and cause this as well so I would swap it out, here is the location and the cooling fan wiring diagrams to help. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
