Have a 2013 Hyundai Sonata and Elantra. The Sonata has 18 in wheels, The Elantra 17 in. Bought rims/snow tires/TPMS for the Elantra. Installed, programmed and used for 1 winter. Put the wheels on the Sonata assuming I would have a TPMS issue. None exists. No warning lights. Why?

Hi Loubob,

You would only have problems if you used two different sizes at the same time, ie: larger rear than front, if all are the same size, larger or smaller the car wont know the difference, though the speedo will vary slightly.

Best, Ken
