2013 Ford Ikon Engine noise

Hi all, I'm from India , owns a ford figo diesel. Have an issue with engine noise, Engine sounds different when the clutch is engaged at idling point and vice versa. It seems engine sounds louder when clutch is not engaged. I have done only 17000 km, why is that, is it a major problem, Please help.

If you are getting a noise when you press in the clutch, you may have a failing clutch thrust bearing, get a mechanic to listen to the noise, they will be able to advise if it is a thrust bearing noise.
