I'm not really experiencing any problems but I had a question about exhaust systems because I don't know much about them. I've been wanting to get that great exhaust sound for my car for a while but I haven't been able to because I don't know which parts to purchase or if it is possible for a 2012 Corolla LE. I'm not sure if I need an exhaust system, a catalytic converter, or a muffler. I'm not really sure what those do and which one could help me achieve the extra power and sound that I'm looking for. If you could reply I would really appreciate it thank you.

Hello,

In order to get more sounds possibly performance you will have to get an exhaust system that allows more air to pass through with less restrictions.
Replacing the exhaust is a fairly staring forward procedure.
There are many good quality performance exhausts that can be purchased from online of your local parts store.

Here is a helpful article:

I have attached diagrams for your reference.

Please let me know of any questions.
Thank you.
