Key stuck

This can be difficult because the key fob locks in and if you have the wrong one you may need to muscle it out of there and deal with the consequences. Here are diagrams to help you see how the system works.

Although the Intelligent Keys may look the same on the outside (physical appearance) they may have different manufacturers and/or different electronic architecture on the inside.

DO NOT attempt to register an Intelligent Key from one vehicle to another vehicle.

If the wrong type of Intelligent Key is being used, registration will not complete.
Make sure to confirm (using the VIN and FAST) that the Intelligent Key(s) being used are correct for the vehicle being worked on.
