2012 Kia Other Soul Recently Had Serious Stereo Overheating Cd Actually

My 2012 kia soul recently had a serious stereo overheating problem. The cd was actually very hot to the touch and the glass face on the stereo was very hot. Have you ever heard of this problem?

It's pretty common because the audio output circuitry can get very hot. To be safe, I'd visit the dealer and see if the same model radio in another car does the same thing.
